On the Corner of Broadway and Colbert

Wandering the streets of Manhattan on any given day can be a very cool experience. It’s not so much the massive skyscrapers or the chance at seeing a celebrity, it’s more about the energy you feel from all those around you. They move and shuffle. They explore and search, each with their own intricate and beautiful life.
Seeing the Late Show with Colbert sign was a reminder to me that Colbert was once a normal kid in a normal house and now he’s a star with millions of adoring fans. He doesn’t know them nor shall he ever meet them, but he impacts their lives nonetheless. I wonder how many lives we affect and the ultimate impact.
