Olympic National Park, located in the Pacific Northwest State of Washington, is home to several distinct ecosystems. The sub-alpine forest and wildflower meadows, the temperate forest, and the Pacific Shore each make for incredible opportunities to explore and discover.
Upon entering the Hoh Rain Forest, you are greeted with incredible lush foliage and the scent of flowers and trees in bloom. In this image, you see my son standing under the canopy of the Hoh rain forest not far from the visitor center. This was only the beginning of our multi-day trek up to the astounding Blue Glacier at the top of Mt Olympus.
